Project overview:

Amu Darya Natural Gas Company proposes to construct the gathering and transmission part in block A of Bagtiyarlyk contract area in Bagtiyarlyk, Lebap Province,Turkmenistan. Block A has 4 gas fields, i.e. Samantepe, Metajan, Yashyldepe and Genjibek and 49 development wells, including 35 repair wells, 4 converted evaluation wells and 10 new drilling wells. The annual gas output of block is 5.5 billion square meters after completion.

The contractual block is mainly located in Bagtiyarlyk, Lebap Province, in Amu Darya Basin and Karakum Desert. Most regions are located in the hinderland of the desert with few transport lines. Bagtiyarlyk, with the area of 1.8×104km2, is located at the junction between the northeast part of Turkmen and Uzbekistan.

The skid-mounted equipment is the new business of the company and the metering separator skid is a high-tension apparatus. The output gas containing a lot of hydrogen sulfide is prone to generate the corrosive solution and corrode the skid device in long-term high-pressure operation process, affecting the equipment life and safety. So there are strict requirements for this project from design to purchase, material inspection, material sulfur-resistance and hydrogen-resistance test and welding technology to ensure construction of each process in strict accordance with the predetermined construction technology. Meanwhile, the third-party supervisor also conducts supervision, production and strict control on site from beginning to end. The project has entered the delivery period currently.
